Job Summary

This role supports the President, Business Operations Team, and Shihan (Business Development) Team to manage the candidate management, recruiting and placement process.  In addition, they will provide Human Resources oversight to ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws. They are responsible for building and managing a pipeline of potential consultants for our clients and frequent communication with the Business Operations Team, Sales team, and outsourced HR suppliers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Recruit and manage a well-maintained pipeline of qualified candidates - Track prospects/candidates in Outreach (tracking tool), maintain contact, awareness of availability and follow up activities.  Execute candidate generation strategies to build/enhance pipeline of qualified diverse candidates.  Utilize social media and networking to market qualified candidates and manage internal candidate referrals.

  • Manage the interview process - Conduct screening of candidates, collect documentation, schedule interviews, review profiles, provide feedback and follow up.  Build and maintain excellent candidate relationships throughout the prescreen/interview process. Communicate and report metrics to team.

  • Support candidate placement - Engage with the Business Development team to understand the business focused project skill and qualification needs to source for candidates and provide project placement support.  Drive process to ensure effective candidate profiles.

  • Manage the on-boarding process Collect all proper forms, set up e-mail/computer access, provide company handbook detailed review.

  • Serve as the primary contact point to provide effective HR advisory services for employees that cover absence and health issues, conduct and capability, grievances, organizational change, and all other employee-relations matters. 

  • Provide backup support for payroll processing, including updates to employee files, bonus/incentive pay, vacation/sick pay, expense reimbursements, hourly-employee validations, and benefits changes.

  • Assist in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart.

  • Work with outsourced HR provider to properly administer benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.

  • Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience.

  • Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and procedures when necessary.

  • Work with the Business Operations Manager to lead key projects that drive recruiting excellence within the business, provide staffing expertise and recommendations to streamline the recruiting process.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field OR 4 years of equivalent experience, AND two years of previous internship or job experience in Business Operations, Talent Acquisition, and/or Marketing.

  • Desired:  Experience recruiting in both technically focused and business operations-focused companies.

  • Desired: Two or more years of additional work experience in Business Operations, Talent Acquisition, and/or Marketing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Client/Candidate relations experience on the phone and through email

  • System-oriented and familiar with setting up systems

  • Excellent verbal and oral written communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Tools (Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneNote)

  • Quality proofreading and content editing Organization and prioritization of task

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and relationship building

  • Effective problem-solving through analytical thinking

  • Knowledge of marketing principles

  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information

Desired knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Basic business math including percentage calculations

  • Brand representation and service marketing

  • Knowledge of technical and business skillsets and terminology

Total Compensation

  • Pay: $65-80K/year, Full-time
